Product Overview
The PESD1CAN-U from NXP is a CAN bus ESD protection diode in 3pin SOT-323 package. This device is designed to protect two automotive CAN (Controller Area Network) bus lines from damage caused by ESD and other transients. The PESD1CAN-U is suitable on lines where the signal polarities are both positive and negative with respect to ground.
- Automotive grade AEC-Q101 qualified
- Low clamping voltage (VCL) of 35V at Ipp=1A
- Diode capacitance of 9.3pF at f= 1MHz and VR=0V
- ESD protection up to 23KV according to IEC 61000-4-2 level 4
- Rated peak pulse current (Ippm) of 3A according to IEC 61000-4-5 (surge) at tp=8/20μs
- Ambient temperature range from -55°C to 150°C
- Reverse standoff voltage (Vrwm) of 24V
- Typical diode capacitance matching is 0.1%
- Breakdown voltage (Vbr) of 27.8V at IR=5mA
- Rated peak pulse power (Pppm) of 150W
