Product Overview
AD5324 is a quad channel, 12bit, buffered voltage output DAC. The references for the DAC are derived from one reference pin. The outputs of all DACs can be updated simultaneously using the software LDAC function. The parts incorporate a power-on reset circuit, and ensure that DAC outputs power upto 0V and remains there until a valid write takes place to the device. The low power consumption of this part in normal operation makes them ideally suited to portable battery-operated equipment. It is widely used in application such as portable battery-powered instruments, digital gain and offset adjustment, programmable voltage and current sources, programmable attenuators, industrial process controls etc.
- Low power operation is 500μA at 3V, 600μA at 5V
- Operating power supply range is 2.5V to 5.5V
- Guaranteed monotonic by design over all codes
- Power-down to 80nA at 3V, 200nA at 5V
- Double-buffered input logic, output range is 0V to VREF
- Power-on reset to 0V, relative accuracy is ±16LSB max
- Low power-, SPI®-, QSPI™-, MICROWIRE™ and DSP compatible 3-wire serial interface
- Input current is ±1µA
- Operating temperature range is –40°C to +105°C
- Packaging style is 10-lead MSOP
