BIM-IKT-AP6X is a magnetic field sensor. It is activated by magnetic fields and is especially suited for piston position detection in pneumatic cylinders. Based on the fact that magnetic fields can permeate non-magnetizable metals, it is possible to detect a permanent magnet attached to the piston through the aluminium wall of the cylinder.

- Metal, GD-Zn housing material
- 10 to 30VDC operating voltage
- 3-wire, NO contact, PNP output function
- Cable electrical connection
- ≤ 10m/s pass speed, ≤ ±0.1mm repeatability, ≤ 0.1mm temperature drift
- ≤ 1mm hysteresis, ≤ 200mA DC rated operational current, 15mA no load current
- ≤ 0.1mA residual current, ≤ 0.5kV isolation test voltage
- 1KHz switching frequency, IP67 protection class, dimension is 30 x 14.6 x 17mm
- Operating ambient temperature range from -25°C to +70°C
