The MSP-EXP430FR4133 LaunchPad development kit is an easy to use evaluation kit for the MSP430FR4133 microcontroller. The MSP430FR4133 is a 16bit microcontroller with 16KB FRAM, 16bit RISC architecture, 8MHz FRAM access and 16MHz system clock speed. The kit contains everything needed to start developing on the MSP430 ultra low power (ULP) FRAM based microcontroller platform, including onboard emulation for programming, debugging and energy measurements. The board features onboard buttons and LEDs for quick integration of a simple user interface as well as a liquid crystal display (LCD) display which showcases the integrated driver with flexible software configurable pins. Free software development tools are also available, including TI's Eclipse based Code Composer Studio (CCSTUDIO) and IAR Embedded Workbench IAR-KICKSTART. Both of these integrated development environments (IDEs) support EnergyTrace technology when paired with the MSP430FR4133 LaunchPad.
