Swissbit® F-50 series industrial CFast™ card combines the CompactFlash™ (CF) card form factor and the Serial ATA (SATA) interface into a single product. The Swissbit CFast™ card portfolio covers the range from high-end SLC-based high-performance F-600 to the cost/performance optimized 3D NAND F-86. Swissbit® F-50 Solid State Drive (SSD) leverages the CFast 2.0 compatible, industry-standard form factor and connectivity. Combined with a SATA Gen3 controller and Multi-Level Cell (MLC) NAND flash technology, the F-50 realizes a robust non-volatile storage solution for today’s embedded storage applications. CFast™ cards can replace both HDDs and CompactFlash™ cards in applications requiring small form factors, high endurance and the ability to withstand shock, vibration, extreme temperatures, and rough environmental conditions.
- Dynamic and static wear levelling, multi-level cell (MLC) NAND flash technology
- Subpage mode flash translation layer (FTL), active data care management: read refresh
- Lifetime enhancements, dynamic bad block remapping, write amplification reduction
- On-board power fail protection, AHCI, TRIM, and NCQ support, ATA security feature set support

- Self-monitoring, analysis and reporting technology (S.M.A.R.T.)
- Supports ATA/ATAPI-8 and ACS-2 command sets
- SATA revision 3.1 - 6Gbit/s (3Gbit/s and 1.5Gbit/s backward compatible) compliance
- 8GB capacity, operating voltage of 3.3V±5%, operating industrial temperature range from -40 to 85°C
