The PiGlow is a small add-on board for the Raspberry Pi that provides 18 individually controllable LEDs that can be used for all sorts of things. The added bonus is that it fits inside a Pibow and works with all models of Raspberry Pi, including the B+. Some applications are for mood lighting and ambience, showing current system load, notifying you of events like mentions in tweets or incoming e-mail, feedback the status of scripts/daemons running on your Pi and can provide a cast against a wall if VESA mounted.
