AQM-101

AQM-101 formaldehyde monitor and data logger is designed to measure and record Formaldehyde (HCHO) concentration, air temperature and relative humidity with visible and audible alarms. This HCHO monitor is an ideal instrument for indoor air quality (IAQ) monitoring and local exhaust system (LEV) performance verification in areas where Formaldehyde may be present. FORMALDEHYDE (HCHO) is a gaseous component of the earth's atmosphere. The concentration of HCHO in natural ambient air is about 0.03 ppm. The UK Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002 impose a legal requirement for the workplace control of exposure to Formaldehyde, by reference to Table 1 of EH40/2005 Workplace Exposure Limits (WELs). The short-term exposure limit for Formaldehyde as listed in EH40* is 2 ppm or 2.5 mg/m? (15 minute reference period).
