EVK1040A

The EVK1040A is an evaluation and development kit for applications using the AT42QT1040-MMU. The EVK1040A evaluates all functions of the Atmel AT42QT1040 touch sensor controller. The AT42QT1040 (QT1040) IC is a convenient and easy to use touch sensor controller for up to four capacitive touch keys. The kit provides a convenient reference design and lets designers visualize discrete touch buttons and LED's for per-channel touch indication. Movable jumpers on the board allow designers to test adjacent key suppression (AKS) functionality and speed settings. The EVK1040A is battery powered and works as a standalone system. on board connections can be used to access debug data from the chip. This kit is for the evaluation and development of applications using the AT42QT1040-MMH ('QT1040') 4 channel QTouch integrated circuit (IC). The EVK1040A is configured with 4 capacitive keys behind a 1mm acrylic front panel, where a touch is shown by an LED for each key touched.
