FRDM-STBI-A8971 is a sensor add-on/expansion shield board for FXLS8971CF 3-axis accelerometer for application requiring better performance over temperature which can be used with any NXP FRDM MCU evaluation board with Arduino compatible expansion connectors. Suitable for Consumer (camera stabilization, connected home, gas / water / electric meters, home security and surveillance, mobile accessories /tags, portable electronics, tilt sensing, wearables), Industrial (asset tracking, equipment monitoring, indoor localization, point of sale devices, smart metering / tamper detection, surveillance, Tilt measurement, orientation detection, vibration sensing, vital signs monitors).

• Compatible with Arduino® and most NXP FRDM development boards
• Supports I²C and SPI communication interface with host MCU
• Supports H/W configurability to switch accelerometer mode and I²C/SPI interface mode
