The X55X series DIP Test Socket with universal zero insertion force. It accepts devices on 0.3 to 0.6-inch centres. Socket handle can be configured with closed contacts (ON) when in the UP or DOWN position and can be mounted on either the right or left side. Socket can be soldered into PCBs or plugged into any socket. Socket fits into Aries or any competitive test socket receptacle. The socket body is black glass-filled polyphenylene sulphide (PPS).

• All pin count sockets go into PCB with either 0.3 or 0.6" centres
• Contacts are normally closed to eliminate dependence on plastic to sustain contact
• Stainless steel handle
• 1A Contact current rating
