MAXPOWERTOOL002# is a USB-to-PMBus interface dongle for power products. The dongle can be used to communicate with PMBus devices using the installed Digital PowerTool software. It is an interface adapter between a host PC (IBM™-compatible) and Analog Devices' PMBus compatible eval boards for power solutions such as hot swaps, 12V multiphase controllers, and 12V point-of-load devices. The interface to the host PC is a standard type-A to mini-B USB cable. The interface to the eval board is through a 16-pin ribbon cable that carries the PMBus commands. It is intended to be used with Analog Device's digital power tool GUI, and it works with the devices: MAX20751, MAX20754, MAX20710, MAX20730, MAX20743, MAX20734, MAX20796, MAX20810, MAX20815, MAX16550, MAX16545B/C.
