HMC462LP5E is a GaAs MMIC pHEMT low noise distributed amplifier. It operates between 2GHz and 20 GHz. The self-biased amplifier provides 13dB of gain and supply current of 66mA from a single +5V supply. Gain flatness is excellent from 6GHz - 18GHz making the device ideal for EW, ECM RADAR and test equipment applications. The wideband amplifier I/Os are internally matched to 50 ohms and are internally DC blocked. It is widely used in application such as telecom infrastructure, microwave radio & VSAT, military EW, ECM, test instrumentation, fibre optics etc.

- Gain variation over temperature is 0.015dB/°C typ at (2GHz - 6GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Noise figure is 3dB typ at (2GHz - 6GHz, TA = +25°C)

- Output return loss is 12dB typ at (2GHz - 6GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Output power for 1dB compression (P1dB) is 15dBm at (2GHz - 6GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Saturated output power (Psat) is 17dBm at (2GHz - 6GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Output third order intercept (IP3) is 26dBm typ at (2GHz - 6GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Supply current is 66mA typ at (2GHz - 6GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Operating temperature is -40°C to +85°C, package style is LCC-32
