ADRF5740BCCZN is a silicon, 4bit digital attenuator with 22dB attenuation control range in 2dB steps. It operates from 10MHz to 60GHz with less than 3.3dB of insertion loss and with ±(0.2 + 7% of attenuation state) of attenuation accuracy at 55GHz. The ATTIN port of the device has an RF input power handling capability of 24dBm average and 24dBm peak for all states. It requires a dual supply voltage of +3.3V and -3.3V. It features parallel mode control, and CMOS- and low voltage transistor to transistor logic (LVTTL)- compatible controls. It is widely used in application such as industrial scanners, test and instrumentation, cellular infrastructure: 5G millimetre wave, military radios, radars, electronic counter measures (ECMs), microwave radios and very small aperture terminals (VSATs) etc.

- 0.1dB power compression (P0.1dB) is 25.5dBm typ at (VDD = 3.3V, VSS = -3.3V)
- Third-order intercept (IP3) is 45dBm typ at (VDD = 3.3V, VSS = -3.3V)
- Tight distribution in relative phase, no low frequency spurious signals
- Parallel mode control, CMOS and LVTTL compatible
- RF amplitude settling time (0.1dB of final RF output) is 175ns typical
- Operating temperature is -40°C to +105°C
- Package style is 16-terminal land grid array [LGA] with exposed pad
