AD9740 is a 10-bit resolution, wideband, third generation member of the TxDAC series of high performance, low power CMOS digital-to-analogue converter (DAC). This device offers exceptional ac and dc performance while supporting update rates upto 210MSPS. It is widely used in application such as wideband communication transmit channel, direct IF, base stations, wireless local loops, digital radio links, direct digital synthesis (DDS), instrumentation etc.
- Excellent spurious-free dynamic range performance
- Twos complement or straight binary data format
- CMOS-compatible digital interface
- Signal-to-noise ratio is 64dB typ at (fCLOCK = 125MSPS; fOUT = 5MHz; IOUTFS = 20mA)
- Differential current output is 2mA to 20mA
- Power dissipation is 135mW at 3.3V
- Power-down mode is 15mW at 3.3V
- On-chip 1.2V reference
- Operating temperature is -40°C to +85°C
- Package style is 32-lead LFCSP-VQ
