The 8D511S35SN-LC from Souriau is 8D Stainless Steel Series plug with RFI shielding circular connector with 13 contacts. This connector is in accordance with MIL-DTL-38999 Series III, EN 3645 and also meets many customers standards like Rolls Royce, ABS, BACC63CT/CU, BACC63DB/DC. It features high contact density, high performance contact retention system and ensures high temperature withstanding. The 8D series connector provides superior strength in vibrations and better retention characteristics than plastic clips. It is designed to withstand the extreme shock, exposure and vibration.
- Resistance to fluids, screw coupling and 100% scoop proof protection
- Thermoplastic insulator, silicone elastomer grommet and interfacial seal
- Insulation resistance of >= 5000Mohm (under 500VDC)
- Multi-contact technology, unique clip retention technology and high power transmission up to 850A
- IP67 high performance sealing (each contact cavity is individually sealed)
- Salt spray exposure of 500hour
- Operating temperature range from -65°C to +200°C
- Endurance of 500 mating/unmating cycles
- Stainless steel body material with nickel plating
- Copper alloy crimp socket contacts with gold plating (connector delivered without contacts)
