Designed to protect operators against electric shocks by monitoring the leakage to earth. In the event of a fault being detected, the unit will immediatly break the circuit. Typical applications include mains sockets and outdoor lighting, kitchens, bathrooms and external applications e.g. caravans, boats etc.
